s-adenosylmethionine, acetylcysteine

Aspirin-free – sounds like Aspirin (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory)

Panadol – sounds like Panacur (antiparasitic)

Methemoglobinemia
Acute hepatic injury
Hemolytic anemia

Pearls

Dogs with single dose: no toxicosis/mild toxicosis/severe toxicosis: 100/200/500 mg/kg PO once
Dog intoxication case: s-adenosylmethionine 40 mg/kg PO, then 20 mg/kg PO q 24h X 7 days was effective
Cats with single dose: no toxicosis/mild toxicosis/severe toxicosis: 20/60/120 mg/kg PO once
Retrospective study of intoxications in cats: toxic dose = 10-170 mg/kg for fatal, 10-400 mg/kg for survivors
No anti-inflammatory action; may be analgesic in dogs (as in people) but case reports exist of dogs experiencing acute hepatic injury and methemoglobinemia
